The AMGM (Granados-Marshall Musical Association) is a non-lucrative organization  presided over by Alicia de Larrocha, created to pursue  the following goals:

  • To pay homage to Enrique Granados and to his pupil and successor Frank Marshall . Two personalities who set trends in the world of pianistic interpretation and left a deep mark in the musical and cultural life of our country.

• To spread music, especially that of Spanish composers.

• To create a Documentary Center to preserve and to put at the disposal of the general public  the important historical archives begun by Enrique Granados a nd continued b y Frank Marshall.

• Promote young interpreters

In order to achieve these goals the AMGM each season (from September to July) organizes a series of activities such as concerts, conferences and courses.

The AMGM is financed through:

  • Annual membership fees*
• Periodical or special one-time economic contributions from private individuals, enterprises and organizations.
• Grants.

* Members of the AMGM have the right of free entrance or special discounts to all activities   scheduled by the AMGM.

The AMGM was constituted on the 26th of November 2001 and was approved by the Generalitat of Catalonia on the 25th of March 2002.
